We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Estimating Department, specializing in Tank and Pump Construction. The Chief Estimator will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our project bids and ensuring the delivery of precise and competitive estimates. This position is integral to our operations, offering a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to our growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the estimating team, ensuring high performance and adherence to project timelines.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve estimating processes and outcomes.
• Lead the preparation of estimates for construction and service projects, with a focus on environmental and fuel facility-focused projects.
• Ensure estimates are accurate, consistent, and submitted in a timely manner for all Construction and Service Business Units.
• Mentor, motivate, and train team members to enhance their skills and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proven estimating experience in construction, environmental, or similar industries, ideally within the Tank and Pump sector.
• Keen attention to detail paired with the ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Experience managing projects with budgets ranging from $25,000 to $5,000,000.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
• Familiarity with Cost Estimating Software is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and other project documentation.

Location: This position is hybrid, requiring a candidate who resides within a commutable distance to Farmingdale, NY.
