As a Senior Technical Consultant, you will play a critical role in the design and development of Oracle's next-generation HealthCare Product Suite. This product aims to streamline intricate healthcare workflows, ranging from clinical decision support to patient communications and reimbursement processes. Your skills in complex user workflows, data platforms, and distributed architecture will enable AI-driven solutions that enhance outcomes for healthcare providers, patients, and operational efficiency.
What You'll Do
Collaborate effectively with architects, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality features on schedule.
Lead the architecture for scalable and reliable distributed services and data platforms that power innovative healthcare applications focused on customer satisfaction.
Translate high-level system designs into detailed architectural documentation, facilitate engineering reviews, and guide technical decision-making.
Prototype essential components, initiate projects, and contribute top-notch code while upholding rigorous code review standards.
Automate and enhance building, testing, and deployment workflows to bolster developer productivity and service reliability.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
10+ years of experience in building and operating distributed services at scale
Proficient in modern programming languages, particularly Java and/or C++, with expertise in system design, data architecture, and securing data with a privacy-by-design approach.
Demonstrated successful collaboration with architects, product managers, and cross-functional teams
Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and common network architectures
Solid grasp of databases, NoSQL systems, storage solutions, and distributed persistence
Hands-on experience managing agent-based architectures in production environments (tool use, orchestration, safety measures)
Familiarity with distributed data processing frameworks (Kafka, Flink, Ray)
Experience with search and retrieval technologies (OpenSearch, Pinecone, Vespa, vector databases)
Expertise in cloud-native design and operations (containers, Kubernetes), CI/CD, and observability
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with MLOps/LLMOps practices, including model deployment, evaluation, and monitoring
Skills in optimizing performance, scalability, and cost for large-scale services
Knowledge of compliance and secure-by-default practices across the software development lifecycle
Responsibilities
In this role, you will actively participate in defining and evolving standard practices and procedures. You will outline specifications for significant projects, design and develop software in alignment with those specifications, and engage in professional software development tasks related to designing, developing, and debugging software applications or operating systems.

Compensation:
The annual salary range for this position is USD $96,800 to $251,600, with eligibility for bonuses, equity, and deferred compensation based on experience and internal equity.
