Please note that while many roles at Coinbase support a remote working environment, our positions are not entirely remote. In-person participation is encouraged throughout the year, with team and company-wide offsite gatherings held multiple times to foster collaboration, connection, and alignment. The Consumer Training Lead Analyst will be pivotal in delivering comprehensive onboarding, advanced cross-training, and train-the-trainer programs that enhance quality and operational excellence. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners across Workforce Management, Vendor Management, Operations, L&D, and Quality Assurance to provide effective training solutions. As a subject matter expert in operations processes, your experience in delivering training both in-person and virtually will be crucial in shaping training strategies. Additionally, you will actively engage with complex production cases to maintain comprehensive expertise and identify systemic areas for improvement. Your Responsibilities:

Training (30-50% travel required):

  • Conduct engaging, interactive training sessions for Premium & Priority support workstreams to ensure high comprehension and application.
  • Deliver onboarding and cross-training to meet L&D's KPIs and business SLAs consistently.
  • Set and maintain high standards for training delivery to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
  • Teach Train-the-Trainer masterclasses, certify training facilitators, and actively contribute to their ongoing development.
  • Work collaboratively with L&D and other teams to design training materials tailored to Premium & Priority Support.
  • Advise on the design of onboarding and cross-training programs.
  • Ensure training content stays compliant with evolving regulatory requirements and internal policies, identifying potential gaps promptly.
  • Lead the identification and resolution of training gaps through advanced quality assurance and performance analytic processes.

Operations:

  • Identify and recommend opportunities for optimizing processes and KPIs through strategic improvement initiatives.
  • Manage problem prioritization and ensure ideas are reviewed within defined service levels, implementing critical solutions personally.
  • Lead efforts to eliminate, automate, and optimize with the use of advanced data analysis and predictive modeling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to discuss proposed solutions and coordinate their implementation effectively.
  • Submit suggestions for tooling enhancements based on observations and testing.
  • Work with Knowledge Management and L&D teams to refresh training materials.
  • Commit at least 10 hours weekly to hands-on production roles to maintain expert knowledge of workflows and identify improvement areas.
  • Provide agile support during workload surges while collaborating with management to set production hour boundaries.
  • Utilize data and customer feedback to proactively address critical issues and improve customer experience.
  • Identify customer needs before they escalate to simplify experiences and foster trust in Coinbase.
  • Act as a liaison for impactful communication with internal and external partners to drive transformative results.

What We Look For:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in a related production role, with significant responsibilities, ideally in training.
  • Expertise in Customer Experience and customer service best practices.
  • Proven proficiency in leading and implementing impactful continuous process improvements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, capable of engaging senior leaders and managing stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize competing demands.
  • Proactive approach to recommending and executing organizational improvements.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of blockchain technology, web3 concepts, staking, self-custody, and cryptocurrency.
  • High adaptability to meet the needs of a fast-paced and growing organization.

Desired Qualifications:

  • High proficiency in cryptocurrency and Coinbase products.
  • Experience in technology, crypto, finance, or fintech environments.
  • Certifications in process improvement methodologies like Lean Six Sigma or Agile.
  • Familiarity with process modeling and mapping tools.
  • Experience developing and leading remote or virtual training teams.
  • Ability to thrive in uncertain situations and lead strategic initiatives while guiding others.

Pay Transparency Notice: Based on your location, the target annual base salary for this position ranges from $99,365 to $116,900 USD. Full-time offers from Coinbase also include eligibility for bonuses, equity, and comprehensive benefits (including healthcare, dental, vision, and 401(k)).
