Join a specialized consulting team dedicated to delivering innovative solutions in the healthcare sector. As a Lead Python Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing Python applications to drive AI and machine learning initiatives forward. This position requires a commitment to obtaining and maintaining Federal Security clearance, and you must be a US citizen.

We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about tackling complex challenges through innovative approaches, thrives in fast-paced environments, and excels in collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver impactful technology solutions.

Qualifications:

  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field, with over 6 years of professional experience.

  • Extensive hands-on software design and programming expertise, particularly in Python.

  • Proven experience in designing and building distributed systems and large-scale architectures.

  • Strong background in implementing microservices using leading container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

  • Ability to optimize systems for performance, efficiency, reliability, and scalability.

  • Customer-focused with a demonstrated history of delivering robust and maintainable solutions.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with experience working in global teams.

  • Advanced troubleshooting, analytical, and performance tuning skills in Cloud environments.

  • Hands-on experience with cloud development across major platforms (Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Experience working within an Agile development framework.

AI/ML Experience:

  • Proven success in building and operating Generative AI, Agentic, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.

  • Experience in supporting and automating ML Ops pipelines.

  • Comfortable collaborating directly with data scientists and innovation teams.

  • Familiarity with code generation assist technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee software design, code quality, and architecture decisions.

  • Lead design sessions and code reviews to ensure functional correctness, architectural maintainability, and performance.

  • Quickly understand and debug complex, unfamiliar codebases.

  • Effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands.

  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and peers.

  • Promote engineering best practices across the team.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure precise requirements are defined and met.

  • Take ownership of critical project planning, estimation, and delivery timelines.

  • Encourage a culture of innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure that security and compliance requirements are integrated into the software development lifecycle.

The salary range provided is specific to this position: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum, with potential eligibility for bonuses and equity.
