Baba makes it easier by pairing older adults with an expert advocate (usually a nurse or social worker) who coordinates their care. Baba's insurance-covered advocates have supported thousands of families by writing insurance appeals, researching specialists, getting medical equipment and cheaper medications, and scheduling appointments.

More than 50% of the Baba team are former founders, with backgrounds from MIT, Carnegie Mellon, Stripe, Palantir, and Liquid AI.

About the Role

Baba is seeking a senior clinical recruiter to source, recruit, and onboard Baba's team of medical providers and advocates.

What You'll Do

• Own clinical recruiting end-to-end. From sourcing to signed offer, you'll drive the full cycle for physicians and care advocate staff. You set strategy, build process, and deliver results at startup speed.
• Guide the onboarding journey. Guide new hires from contracting through credentialing and initial assignments, ensuring a seamless, supportive experience that gets them delivering care quickly and showcases our custom platform.
• Partner with Credentialing. Work closely with our credentialing team to ensure providers are in-network, compliant, and ready to see patients without unnecessary delays.
• Build and maintain pipeline visibility. Track metrics like response rates, conversion rates, time-to-credential, and ramp-up progress. Spot bottlenecks before they become problems.
• Protect and scale Baba's culture. Treat every hiring decision as a culture-defining act. We're building something special for seniors- the people we bring in need to believe in that mission.
• Collaborate cross-functionally. Partner with Clinical Operations, Product, and Care Coordination to align hiring with capacity needs and growth timelines.
• Enhance the candidate and provider experience. Be the point of contact who answers questions quickly, removes friction, and makes clinicians genuinely excited to join Baba.

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in healthcare, clinical, or provider settings (physicians, nurses, therapists, care coordinators, or similar).
• Proven success in fast-paced, early-stage environments. You've built recruiting operations or candidate experience systems from scratch-or you're ready to.
• Strong sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing skills with results to show for it.
• A bias toward action. You get frustrated if you're not talking to candidates or improving a process.
• High-Agency & Meticulous: You have a "zero-defect" mindset. You build systems to ensure nothing falls through the cracks and take total ownership of system reliability.
• Comfort with data. You use metrics to identify trends, make decisions, and improve outcomes.
• Experience with modern ATS platforms (Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever, or similar).
• An insider's perspective on where to source the best talent. You'll know where to identify and recruit top talent, beyond existing job boards.
• A human-centered approach. You care about creating delightful experiences for candidates and new hires alike.
• Self-direction and discipline. You don't wait to be told what to do. You move until someone tells you to stop.
