Security Cooperation and Interoperability Specialist
The Opportunity:
Research and analyze data to inform foreign policy programs and initiatives. Apply specific functional knowledge and working and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety ofproblems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide activities of junior employees.
You Have:
- 2+ years of experience interacting with civilian or military representatives of security or defense organizations of foreign nations
- Experience with regional or security cooperation staff at a strategic-level headquarters, including Joint Staff, Combatant Command, or a supporting service component
- Experience working with allied, coalition, or partner nations, including security cooperation efforts and initiatives
- Knowledge of defense-focused functional areas, including strategy, policy, and planning at the national or regional level, special operations, military aviation, maritime domain awareness, or cybersecurity
- Knowledge of security cooperation authorities, policies, processes, procedures, or resource tools and databases
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have: - Experience as a member of a U.S. Country Team abroad working on security cooperation matters
- Experience working in the Indo-Pacific region
- Experience with assessment, monitoring, and evaluation policies, approaches, and processes as applied to security cooperation programs and activities
- Experience working in the DoW or Joint Staff
- Experience with U.S.C. Title 10 funding authorities, implementation, and execution
- Knowledge of communications and cybersecurity interoperability efforts with foreign allies and partner nations
Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
