We are looking for a talented individual...

To join our team as a Senior Commercial Field Specialist to support commercial energy-efficiency programs through hands-on HVAC maintenance, testing, and field verification work. This role is primarily field-based and focuses on performing HVAC tune-ups, cleaning and testing existing equipment, installing basic energy-efficiency measures (such as thermostats), and accurately documenting results using mobile applications.

The ideal candidate is an experienced HVAC service technician who enjoys independent field work, takes pride in quality maintenance and customer service, and is comfortable working directly at commercial customer sites.

The successful candidate will be willing and able to travel throughout Western Arkansas (centered around Fort Smith) in a company vehicle.

You're a great fit if you can...

  • Perform HVAC tune-ups, maintenance, cleaning, and performance testing on existing commercial HVAC equipment.
  • Use diagnostic equipment and mobile applications to test system efficiency and submit required data.
  • Troubleshoot HVAC performance issues and confirm proper system operation after maintenance activities.
  • Occasionally install and replace basic energy-efficiency measures such as thermostats (training provided).
  • Work independently in the field, with minimal administrative duties.
  • Accurately document field activities, time, and expenses in company systems.
  • Represent CLEAResult professionally at customer sites, providing clear communication and a positive customer experience.
  • Travel throughout a defined territory (Fort Smith, AR area), including occasional overnight travel as needed.
  • Participate in onboarding and initial field training, which may require travel for a short period.
Exciting candidates will have...
  • 3+ years of hands-on HVAC experience, preferably as a service technician (maintenance/troubleshooting focused).
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems and the ability to perform maintenance and testing independently.
  • Comfortable using mobile devices (iPad/tablet), apps, and basic computer systems for field data entry.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and follow standardized processes and mobile application workflows.
  • Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
  • HVAC licensure or certification is preferred but not required; candidates may work under a licensed contractor if applicable.


Targeted Compensation:

$60,000-$65,000

This is a safety-sensitive position and may include field work (such as work in industrial/commercial locations and customer homes), warehouse work, or requires driving on behalf of the company. Individuals provided a conditional offer of employment for this position must successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record. Applicants for driving positions must hold a valid driver's license, and individuals provided a conditional offer of employment must successfully pass a drug test and maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment.

If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
