Job Summary:

We are seeking a part-time licensed optometrist to join our team and conduct compensation and pension exams for veterans in our clinic. As an optometrist, you will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive eye and vision evaluation for each veteran, including a review of medical records. You will then report findings via a Disability Benefit Questionnaire

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive eye and vision evaluations for veterans
• Review medical records to assess conditions and related impairments
• Compete DBQs and Independent Medical Records as instructed

• Doctorate in Optometry degree from an accredited university
• Active and unrestricted license to practice optometry
• Experience conducting veteran compensation and pension exams is preferred
• Excellent clinical and assessment skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
