Position Objective: Provide services as an Industrial-Organizational (I-O) Psychologist in support of the overall functions of the Dept. of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Officeof Human Capital (OHC), Human Resources Operations Center (HROC). The I-O Psychologist will support a team of federal I-O professionals in the development and validation of a range of competency-based assessment tools.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis: Assist with job analysis data collection and analysis (i.e., descriptive and inferential methods).

• Assessment Development: Assist with the development of assessment tools based on job relevant factors.

• Survey Research: Assist with the design, sampling plan, programming, data extracting and reporting of organization-wide survey initiatives.

• Policy Support: Assist in the development of HR policies and organizational development initiatives.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Master of Science degree in I-O Psychology or closely related field.

• Technical: Job analysis, assessment development and validation, intermediate level-skill in SPSS or other data analysis software package.

Preferred Qualifications:

• "Can do" attitude, detail oriented, collaborative nature, active listener, critical thinker, strong communicator (i.e., spoken and written).
