As a Student Peer Mentor, you will play a crucial role in helping first-year students transition to SNHU and maximize their college experience. You will work part-time under the guidance of the Associate Dean. Your mentorship will be vital in supporting the engagement and success of at-risk non-traditional students through personalized guidance and programming.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Holding regular office hours for mentoring appointments to assist students effectively.
• Providing one-on-one and group mentorship to incoming first-year students.
• Actively engaging in the Learning Community through discussions, responses, and participation in webinars.
• Helping facilitate online programming and webinars aimed at student engagement.
• Maintaining confidentiality and addressing any mentee concerns with your supervisor.
• Understanding and adhering to all SNHU policies.
• Participating in all training sessions and team meetings.
• Reflecting the culture and values of SNHU in all interactions.

What we're looking for:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience with social media and virtual meeting software.
• Access to a personal computer and a reliable internet connection.
• Current or previous SNHU students are preferred.

Compensation:

The hourly pay range for this position is $15.87 - $25.41, with a target hiring range of $17.54 - $23.74, reflecting skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
