Job description:

They are currently hiring for an On-Site Project Manager to support construction projects across the U.S. This is a high travel role (approximately 80-90%), and candidates can be based anywhere in the U.S., as long as they are willing to travel and stay near active job sites.
Role overview:
The On-Site Project Manager is responsible for coordinating day-to-day field operations alongside field crews and contractors. This includes managing material deliveries, resolving field issues, maintaining schedules, and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering closely with field crews to coordinate materials, logistics, and site needs
- Scheduling and adjusting deliveries with steel fabricators, joist and deck suppliers, and other vendors
- Attending daily and weekly coordination meetings with contractors and field teams
- Reviewing incoming materials and resolving any shortages or discrepancies quickly
- Communicating field changes and directives to internal project teams for documentation
- Tracking project progress, manpower needs, and schedule adherence in collaboration with office-based Project Managers
- Ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and all site-specific safety requirements
- Representing SteelFab professionally with clients, contractors, and partners
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license
- Knowledge of steel construction and job site safety best practices
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and general computer applications
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Compensation & Benefits:
- Total compensation: $110,000-$135,000
- Base salary: $85,000-$105,000
- Bonus: $25,000-$35,000
- $200/day per diem while on-site
