Location: Parsippany, NJ (Hybrid with periodic travel)
Overview

Our client a growing organization is seeking a Strategic Sourcing/ Procurement Manager to lead sourcing initiatives, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements across key categories. This role is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, evaluating suppliers, and supporting business stakeholders through strong project management and category expertise.
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full sourcing lifecycle across assigned categories, ensuring optimal cost, quality, delivery, innovation, and risk management.
  • Gather and formalize business requirements in collaboration with crossfunctional teams.
  • Conduct market assessments to identify optimal sources of supply.
  • Lead RFP processes, supplier evaluations, contract negotiations, and award recommendations.
  • Manage and negotiate large-scale agreements in alignment with internal policies and legal guidelines.
  • Drive strategic sourcing projects from planning through implementation.
  • Oversee supplier relationship management and category management activities.
  • Evaluate supplier performance, identify risks, and support continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews with strategic suppliers.
Qualifications
  • Years of experience in manufacturing environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 2-4 years' experience in Purchasing, Master Scheduling, or Production Planning.
  • SAP proficiency required.
  • Strong Excel skills and analytical capability.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
