Job Description 1: Senior Manager - Consumer Credit Oversight and Review (SME Role)
Location: Remote
Type: Contract (400 hours)
Duration: Through 3/31/2025 (likely extension through 4/30/2025)
Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Manager specializing in Consumer Credit Oversight and Review to provide strategic support for audit functions within the consumer credit review business. This Subject Matter Expert (SME) role requires deep expertise in audit strategy, test plan oversight, and issue management, along with a focus on risk evaluation and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and assist with audit strategy for the consumer credit review business.
• Create and review test plans for consumer credit audit engagements.
• Perform Level 1 reviews of testing procedures and findings.
• Assist with the creation of potential issues, risk ratings, and appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Develop and communicate comprehensive reports detailing audit outcomes and observations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with audit standards and objectives.

• Experience: 8+ years in consumer credit review, audit strategy, or a related field.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline (advanced degree preferred).
• Certifications: CPA, CIA, or relevant certifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management practices in consumer credit.
• Exceptional communication and reporting skills.
• Proven ability to manage projects and deliver results within defined timelines.
