DescriptionPOSITION DESCRIPTIONPOSITION TITLE:Product Quality Manager, Bakery OperationsREPORTS TO:FSI General ManagerSTATUS:ExemptDATE:February 2025LOCATION:Napoleons Bakery PlantPOSITION SUMMARY:Reporting to the General Manager, this position is responsible for developingand maintaining the quality of all bakery products to ensure compliance with food safety standards and product specifications while promoting a culture of constant improvement and innovation.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:* Develops and maintains preventive controls and quality assurance policies for Napoleon's Bakery per FDA regulations to ensure consistent product quality.* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality assurance processes and makes necessary adjustments* Define product specifications and communicate targets to the production team.* Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards. Makes on-site corrections with Production team as necessary.* Maintain all required reports, recipes and records.* Oversee product development and enhancement of bakery products. Keep current with industry trends to ensure the organization remains competitive.* Promotes a culture of ongoing improvement, supporting innovation and high standards in product quality.* Filling management shift as required, executing all managerial duties expected of an assistant manager on shift.* May support other departments as neededQUALIFICATIONS:Scheduling:* Regular Schedule Monday-Friday but must be available to work on weekends and holidays* Must be able to work any shiftPhysical Ability: ?* Able to lift 50 pounds* Standing for extended periodsMental Ability:* Mathematically inclined: ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts* Reasoning Ability: ability to apply common sense and sound judgment.
