Description We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join a local CPA firm on a contract basis in Honolulu, Hawaii. In this role, you will utilize your expertise to assist with individual tax returns and ensure accurate and timely filing for clients. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in tax preparation and familiarity with UltraTax CS software. Up to 32 hours per week.Responsibilities:- Prepare and review individual tax returns, focusing on Form 1040 filings.- Collaborate with managers to provide support and expertise in tax preparation tasks.- Utilize UltraTax CS software to complete tax-related data entry and calculations.- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.- Analyze financial data and documentation to determine tax obligations.- Communicate with clients to gather necessary tax information and clarify details.- Maintain organized records and documentation for all tax filings.- Provide recommendations to clients for tax-saving strategies and financial planning.- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and software features to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Requirements - A minimum of 3 years of experience preparing individual tax returns, particularly Form 1040.- Proficiency in UltraTax CS software for tax preparation and data entry required.- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.- Effective communication abilities for interacting with clients and team members.- Capacity to work independently and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.- Prior experience in an environment that requires attention to detail is preferred.- Familiarity with tax-saving strategies and financial planning concepts.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
