The IT Program Manager - Security role involves establishing and managing strategic directions, objectives, budgets, priorities, and projects for selected information technology programs or related technologies, in collaboration with the director, Chief Information Officer, and customer stakeholders. The role serves as team leader, subject matter expert, and technical resource, mentoring and advising project teams during planning, execution, and maintenance activities.

Essential functions include planning various information technology projects and programs, providing professional and technical leadership, leading a team of people, exploring strategic vendor and consultant relationships, and remaining available for both scheduled and unscheduled work, occasionally outside normal business hours and on weekends. Participation in company emergency response activities is also required.

Basic qualifications include thorough knowledge of information systems technologies, principles and practices of information system development, WAN/LAN/voice technology, personal computers, Unix systems, company policies and procedures, planning processes, and program/non-program budgeting. Skills requirements include leadership, analysis, flexibility, presentation, mentoring, interpersonal, analytical, and administrative skills. Experience requirements include extensive experience in IT/IS program technologies and projects, development of information systems or applications, and project management competency.
