Spanish-Speaking Medical Receptionist (Hybrid MA) - Pediatric Office | Cedarhurst, NY (Five Towns)
Salary: $20-$28 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Up to 40 Hours Per Week | Evening Availability Required | Must Work Every Sunday

A busyand well-regarded pediatric office in Cedarhurst (Five Towns area) is seeking a professional and organized Spanish-speaking Medical Receptionist with prior Medical Assistant experience. This role is primarily front desk focused; however, the ideal candidate must be capable of stepping into a Medical Assistant role when needed to support the clinical team.

This is a full-time opportunity in a fast-paced pediatric environment serving children and their families. The ideal candidate is dependable, patient-focused, and comfortable working in both administrative and clinical capacities when needed.

Primary Responsibilities (Front Desk Focus)
• Greet and check in pediatric patients and families in a warm, welcoming manner
• Answer phones and manage appointment scheduling
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays
• Maintain accurate patient records in ECW (eClinicalWorks) EMR system
• Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
• Handle general front desk administrative and operational duties
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and families

Clinical Support Responsibilities (When Needed)
• Room patients and obtain vital signs
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures
• Support immunizations and basic clinical workflow
• Perform phlebotomy if required
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies

Required Qualifications
• Fluent Spanish and English (required)
• Experience using ECW (eClinicalWorks) EMR system (required)
• Prior medical front desk or receptionist experience
• Medical Assistant experience (required - must be able to assist clinically when needed)
• Must be available to work evenings and every Sunday (required)
• Comfortable working with pediatric patients and families
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented demeanor
