We are seeking a Senior Manager of Software Development to lead a dynamic team focused on our Virtual Networking products. In this pivotal role, you will drive architectural enhancements and customer-facing features to scale our virtual networking offerings effectively.

Your leadership will be vital as we navigate transformative changes within OCI, ensuring that our tier 0 services maintain the required stability while meeting the demands of growth. Collaborating closely with our largest customers, you will identify and develop essential features that support their expansion, balancing the dual objectives of stability and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices, fostering innovation and compliance within the team.

• Set the technical vision and direction that aligns with our strategic goals.

• Coach, mentor, and nurture team members to build a strong talent pool.

• Establish and uphold high standards of software development processes and best practices.

• Define and implement new KPIs to enhance decision-making and prioritization of initiatives.

• Set performance goals and expectations, working collaboratively with team members to create specific and measurable objectives.

In this role, you will manage activities across multiple functional areas, ensuring that operational planning aligns with corporate standards. Your proven leadership abilities will contribute to our product development efforts, backed by strong analytical and communication skills. A BS or MS degree, or equivalent experience in a relevant field, along with a minimum of 4 years in software engineering or a related area, is required.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this role is $118,300 to $251,600 per annum, with potential bonuses, equity, and compensation deferral options.
