Job Description:

Join CDM Smith, a global full-service firm with over 40 years of experience serving the US Government. We are looking for a dynamic Program Delivery Lead to drive the expansion of our federal construction portfolio in the Indo-Pacific Region. This is a unique opportunity to shape strategies to position our firm for success in bidding and executing new projects.

In this key role, you will:

  • Create project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives leveraging lessons learned.
  • Prepare detailed statements of work with structured work breakdowns and ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Assess project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Manage project costs effectively, ensuring profitability while advocating for quality service delivery.
  • Handle client billing and ensure timely payments are received for our services.
  • Monitor ongoing project status, identifying new risks and implementing solutions as required.
  • Manage project changes utilizing established change management protocols and maintain clear communication with team members and clients.
  • Oversee proper implementation of safety procedures and respond efficiently to audit actions.
  • Provide guidance to project teams, including engineers and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Develop resource plans and manage staffing to optimize project delivery.
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for additional projects.

This role requires:

  • Bachelor's degree with 15 years of relevant experience.
  • PMP (PMI), CCM, or DBIA certification (required within 12 months of hire).
  • Willingness to travel as needed based on project demands.
  • Strong understanding of construction project management, including budget development and risk assessment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Pacific construction sector is highly valued.

Worksite Location: Hawaii - Honolulu

This position may require approximately 30% travel. A valid driver's license is mandatory.

The pay range for this position is $176,446 to $326,435, depending on experience and qualifications.
