Reporting to the Terminal Supervisor, performs a variety of terminal and transportation activities for the Fuel Terminal facility. Responsible to perform their duties in accordance with Company Policy, Safety Requirements and in compliance with Governmental Regulations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES / FUNCTIONS: Performs terminal maintenance to include, but not limited to correction of mechanical problems at the load rack, correction of mechanical problems with petroleum tank brodie valves, gauging devices and alarm systems, correction of mechanical problems within terminal pipeline system, and coordinator of outside assistance in repair of facility equipment, when necessary. Functions as a member of the 24-hour on-call Terminal Oil Spill Response Team. Receives/transfers products by pipeline and ship/barge. Has full understanding of pipeline configuration. Coordinates products "flushes". Monitors flow rate into tanks. Manual gauging of tanks. Hourly gauging/leak checks.
