Pay Range: $91,000 - 123,000

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (8am - 5pm)

Position Summary Description:

The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the organization's information systems, including networks, servers, helpdesk operations, and hardware and software administration. This role ensures the reliability, security, and performance of all infrastructure components to support business operations.

The IT Infrastructure Manager leads and develops a team of network and server administrators, and helpdesk technicians while overseeing hiring, training, performance management, and professional development.

This position researches, evaluates, and recommends technology solutions to executive leadership and oversees the successful implementation of approved initiatives. The IT Infrastructure Manager also serves as a key advisor to executive leaders, providing strategic guidance on IT matters to align technology investments with organizational goals and business strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the planning, analysis, recommendation, implementation of additions, deletions, and major modifications to the support infrastructure.
  • Manages the administration and maintenance of the company's infrastructure, including LAN and WAN, VMware environment, and storage infrastructure.
  • Defines technical, operations, and network management IP-platform support solutions to meet partner requirements and then directs internal (and external, if necessary) resources to successful and timely presentation of the required solution elements.
  • Manages troubleshooting, system backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provides expert support when necessary.
  • Responsible for managing all help desk activities and assists with or responds to escalated help desk issues in a timely manner.
  • Manages the purchasing of software, hardware and other IT supplies and ensures that company assets are maintained responsibly.
  • Manages, develops, and implements infrastructure security and provides direction and support of security policies and practices.
  • Assists in finding new vendors and working directly with the vendors and their teams on major projects.
  • Assists in the project management and reporting on of major projects and initiatives.
  • Develops relationships with other internal departments and meets with individuals to understand how IT can support company and department objectives.
  • Remains at the forefront of emerging industry practices and manages the process of innovative change effectively.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Extensive experience in virtualization, servers and storage, telephony, Office 365, and IP network solutions. Provide consultation to other department managers and their staff in IT requirements.
  • Assists staff in planning, decision-making, facilitating and process improvement; develops subordinates' skills and encourages career growth through mentoring and leading by example; solicits and applies customer feedback (internal and external); improves processes, products and services. Understands and supports teamwork throughout the organization. Prepares annual performance evaluations of staff and address performance issues.
  • Performs similar and related duties as assigned by Director.
  • Incorporates the Company's Mission/Vision Statements and Core Values as their guiding principles.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; counseling employees, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Direct reports to include: Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, Desktop Technician, and Help Desk Technicians.

Qualifications:

Education/Training and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience and professional certifications.

Six years of IT experience in Systems/Networking, 3 to 5 years of IT Management Experience, Food Service Industry or warehouse experience preferred.

Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, CompTIA, and other related certifications preferred.
