Allied Universal - - Responsibilities: Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities; Conduct regular and random foot patrols of academic buildings, classrooms, residence life areas as assigned, and surrounding grounds to help deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or policy concerns; Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical calls, and suspicious activity, and request additional assistance when needed; Monitor access points and campus activity, assist with directions and general questions, and report unauthorized access, loitering, and/or policy violations per site instructions; Complete detailed shift activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site leadership, and support crowd and traffic flow during campus events and peak periods
