Allied Universal - - Responsibilities: Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, campus-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.; Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate campus resources and/or public emergency services as needed.; Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity.; Monitor access points and common areas for unusual activity, policy concerns, and/or hazards, and report observations to supervision per site procedures.; Complete security-related reports, log entries, and incident documentation, and communicate pertinent information during shift briefings and post turnovers.
