TLC Nursing Associates, Inc.

TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care in an Acute Care setting. The CNA will support the nursing staff by assisting with patient needs, ensuring safety, and maintaining comfort throughout hospitalization or acute treatment phases.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Obtain and record vital signs, intake and output, and report any abnormal findings to the nursing team.
• Support nurses and other healthcare providers in performing patient care procedures and treatments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
• Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning using proper body mechanics and safety techniques.
• Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and families during their hospital stay.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient care activities in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Comply with all infection control, safety, and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the applicable state required.
• BLS certification required.
• Prior experience in an acute care or hospital setting preferred.
• Knowledge of patient care standards, hospital routines, and basic medical terminology.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and observation skills.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and respectful patient-centered care.
