Position Summary

The Cashier at Aunty Pat's Cafe is responsible for accurately processing payments, providing exceptional guest service, and ensuring a positive guest experience in a welcoming café environment. This role involves operating cash registers, greeting and engaging guests, delivering food to tables, and performing essential stocking and cleaning duties. The ideal candidate will maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism in a fast-paced café setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately process guest payments at Aunty Pat's Cafe, including handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment, while adhering to company policies.
• Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests by greeting and engaging them to ensure a memorable experience at Aunty Pat's Cafe.
• Deliver food orders to guests' tables within the café, maintaining a high level of service and attention to detail.
• Assist in stocking inventory and supplies to ensure operational needs of Aunty Pat's Cafe are met.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment at the café.
• Maintain knowledge of the café menu, food and beverage offerings, and any special promotions.
• Work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication and a positive attitude.

Minimum Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage operations.
• Ability to accurately handle money, operate a cash register, and perform basic math calculations.
• Basic understanding of food preparation procedures.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests in a café setting.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
