Collaborate, discuss, and problem-solve with the team on repairs, maintenance and applications of equipment with the rest of the facilities team on timelines, workload, etc. Respond promptly and efficiently to trouble and emergency calls, completes assigned work orders in a timely basis. Keep technical and safety training knowledge and skills current. Become knowledgeable in the codes and standards of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and The Joint Commission. Perform high quality preventative maintenance and repair service on equipment including commercial grade pumps, boilers, water heaters, kitchen equipment, air handlers, refrigeration equipment, and plumbing systems. Maintain the plumbing circulation system and the recreation therapy pool. Inspect on a routine basis fire sprinkler pump, equipment, flow devices and other components to ensure they remain functional and are up to code, as well as to identify any hazards or issues.
