Role Overview

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing the storage, inventory, and distribution of alarm and security system products.

Status: Full-Time, Exempt

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all activities within the warehouse, including receiving, storing, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
• Ensure the warehouse operates efficiently, maintaining organized storage and timely order processing.
• Oversee the proper handling, storage, and labeling of products to prevent damage and ensure accurate inventory.
• Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff, promoting a positive work environment and teamwork.
• Schedule and assign tasks to warehouse employees, ensuring adequate staffing levels and efficient workflow.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, conducting regular counts and reconciliations.
• Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
• Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to manage inventory replenishment and forecast demand.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety in the warehouse.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective measures.
• Maintain proper documentation for safety training, incidents, and compliance audits.
• Oversee the preparation and shipment of orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers.
• Coordinate with logistics providers and carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Resolve any shipping or receiving issues, working with vendors and customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, including inventory levels, order processing, and shipments.
• Prepare and present reports on warehouse performance, key metrics, and inventory status.
• Ensure all documentation is organized and accessible for audits and future reference.
• Travel to outer island offices.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a related role.
• Experience in the alarm and security industry is advantageous but not required.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software and inventory control systems.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Requirements:

• Works in an air-conditioned warehouse as well as an air-conditioned office
• This position will require you to work in a warehouse and must be able to occasionally lift and move 45lbs.
• Requires use of PC for brief and extended periods of time depending upon project.

Compensation starts at $ 65,000 (DOE)
