Warehouse Worker

As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in daily operations at our Honolulu Branch (Oahu). Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and distributing products, accurately picking and packing orders, stocking shelves, and maintaining organized inventory. You will perform general warehouse tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you'll interact with customers, suppliers, and team members regularly.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare merchandise for customers by promptly filling and packaging orders for will call or shipping.
  • Receive and prioritize orders through supervisor-issued work tags.
  • Retrieve items from inventory using manual methods and/or forklifts.
  • Prepare materials for delivery or pick-up by customers, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
  • Verify the accuracy and timeliness of filled orders before delivery or pick-up.
  • Complete bills of lading for materials being delivered to customers.
  • Maintain organized files for customer pick-up orders, noting relevant information on invoices.
  • Serve 'Express Will Call Customers' promptly to expedite order processing.
  • Assist with counter sales by entering orders into the system and pulling/loading orders.
  • Foster a positive work atmosphere by cooperating and communicating effectively with customers, co-workers, and managers.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

  • Proficient in time management, consistently meeting responsibilities within designated timeframes
  • Collaborative mindset, fostering positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external interactions
  • Basic math skills, including counting and performing computations up to four digits

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Honolulu, HI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
