Your Role

The IT Asset Management Specialist will report directly to the Director of IT Asset Management. In this essential role, you will oversee the management of both software and hardware assets, ensuring that our repositories are accurate and compliant with relevant policies. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing SNHU's ITS assets with a focus on maintaining accurate and complete asset information.
  • Conducting regular audits and inventory assessments of ITS assets to ensure alignment with policies and standards.
  • Maintaining detailed reports to monitor asset usage and compliance, preventing inefficiencies and overspending.
  • Analyzing and resolving asset-related issues and discrepancies to enhance data accuracy.
  • Collaborating with ITS teams and customers for effective tracking and management of assets.
  • Creating comprehensive documentation to support asset management processes.
  • Overseeing daily software and hardware request tasks within the ITAM tool (ServiceNow).
  • Managing strategic inventory control of technology assets across the university.
  • Working with various partners to ensure efficient acquisition processes aligned with budgeting and financial requirements.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Your Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in IT Asset Management.
  • Understanding of customer-focused ITAM.
  • Familiarity with software and hardware asset management principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of product use rights for publishers like Microsoft, Adobe, and TechSmith.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to manage complex spreadsheets.
  • Experience with ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with HRIS technologies such as Workday, Oracle, and PeopleSoft.
  • Experience with SharePoint.

Compensation

The annual salary for this role ranges from $53,156.00 to $85,068.00. The actual offer will be based on your skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity, alongside relevant business considerations. The target hiring range for this position is $58,738.00 to $79,470.00.
