Job Details

Compensation Pay Range: $14.00 - $23.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage required for the job location. Additional compensation may include annual and quarterly performance bonuses, which can vary based on specific circumstances such as schedule, facility, season, or type of work performed.

As a Merchandiser and Stock Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring that the sales floor is stocked, organized, and welcoming for customers. You will be responsible for stocking merchandise according to planograms, maintaining a clean environment, and providing excellent customer service. Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers on the sales floor, assisting them in locating products or referring them to a parts specialist for specific needs.
• Receive, price, and display stock correctly.
• Ensure merchandise displays are well-stocked, neatly arranged, and clean each day.
• Implement display changes according to company guidelines.
• Update pricing and ensure promotional signs are displayed correctly and merchandise is available.
• Remove expired promotional materials and revert pricing post-sale.
• Assist with stock adjustments, inventory counts, and returns of overstock.
• Collaborate with management to complete store tasks and enhance team performance.
• Act as a security presence on the sales floor to deter shoplifting.
• Support O'Reilly Image Maker responsibilities and ensure brand standards in-store.
• Accurately pull and stage deliveries for delivery specialists, coordinating communication between teams.
• Help plan efficient delivery routes for personnel.
• Ensure back room and installer counter areas are organized and clean.
• Potentially operate as a HUB Store Order Puller, preparing parts for delivery to other stores.

Qualifications:

Required: Strong numerical aptitude and organizational skills.

Preferred: Previous experience in stocking and the ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle. Fluency in additional languages, particularly Spanish, is advantageous.
