Job Duties:

The Developer/Analyst designs, develops, and maintains software solutions that support campus operations and strategic initiatives. This role supports PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and delivers custom software solutions using technologies such as Informatica and Visual Studio.

Working closely with campus stakeholders, the Developer/Analyst translates business needs into functional and technical requirements, produces clear documentation, and recommends enhancements to improve efficiency, performance, and maintainability. This position reports to the Director of ITS Enterprise Services and operates in alignment with the goals and priorities of the Information Technology Services unit as established by the Chief Information Officer.

Analyst
  • Partner with campus stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements.
  • Assist with training and knowledge transfer for new systems and enhanced functionality.
  • Create and maintain clear, accurate technical and functional documentation.
  • Designs and develops well integrated applications that meet present and future business needs
Software Developer
  • Design, develop, and implement new software solutions using Informatica, PeopleSoft Application Designer, Visual Studio (C#), and related technologies.
  • Maintain, enhance, and optimize existing applications to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and support software applications to ensure strong functionality and quality.
  • Collaborate and communicate regularly with technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements or enhancements as needed.

$79,000 / year

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field from an accredited four-year college or university, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of database systems and supporting technologies.
  • Experience writing SQL and querying relational databases.
  • Experience programming in .NET, Java, or comparable languages.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Application Designer and PeopleCode.
  • Experience using ETL tools such as Informatica.
  • Experience leading or contributing to IT projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and translate functional requirements.
  • Experience developing clear and effective technical documentation.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
