Join our team as a Surface Ship Maintenance Program Manager, where you will play a vital role in managing and overseeing engineering and technical services for the maintenance and planning of overhaul and repair work for U.S. Navy Surface Ships. This opportunity is based in Pearl Harbor, HI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and provide technical guidance to Ship's Force on Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E) systems, ensuring effective operation and maintenance of critical equipment.
• Conduct thorough inspections and analyses of naval propulsion and auxiliary machinery, making informed recommendations for maintenance and repairs.
• Collaborate with ship's reactor department to facilitate inspections, testing, and production work safely and effectively.
• Manage teams tasked with fault identification, assisting Ship's Force with physical repairs of various shipboard systems.
• Deliver technical support and advice regarding auxiliary machinery, electrical, and damage control systems.
• Oversee performance and provide guidance on corrosion control assessments and maintenance procedures.
• Develop and implement updated training programs and formal work packages to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
• Nurture positive relationships with stakeholders to foster collaboration and enhance project outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of seven years' experience in engineering management, or an Associates Degree with fourteen years' experience.
• Five years' supervisory experience in technical assistance, maintenance, or design related to surface ships.
• A current DoD security clearance is mandatory.
• Experience with naval propulsion, auxiliary, electrical, and damage control systems, specifically in relation to shipboard maintenance.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for CONUS/OCONUS assignments.
