As an Exchange Engineer, the candidate will be responsible for supporting the company's Exchange Environment (including both Office 365 and on-premise systems).
• The portfolio of supported features includes email, SMTP, Distribution lists, Shared Mailboxes.
• The candidate will also assist with the operation and maintenance of third-party messaging gateways and platforms such as ProofPoint, Cisco, and Mimecast.
• Key duties include monitoring usage statistics and system stability, managing escalated incidents, and collaborating across teams to troubleshoot and resolve service issues.
• The role involves maintaining the reliability and performance of messaging services, optimizing internal processes, and ensuring effective governance.
• The Email Engineer will work closely with Microsoft and third-party vendors to ensure service agreements are met and will partner with internal teams to help u make the most of available services and platforms, following established guidelines and policies.
• A strong focus is placed on enhancing end-user productivity through self-help resources and training.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate change(s) impacting messaging and related applications.
• Lead incident response efforts within service delivery for any incidents impacting mail and related applications.
• Responsible for Maintenance and smooth running of Exchange & related services.
• Responsible for Supporting and troubleshooting messaging issues for large number of O365 u .
• Responsible for change, release management, and testing associated with non-impact, operational readiness, and transition acceptance.
• Responsibility to deliver on projects for Exchange user Migrations, AD data integration with messaging platforms etc.
• Responsible for communications and interfacing with internal and external stakeholders impacted, or potentially impacted, by service disruption, additions, changes, and/or reductions in service.
• Responsible for information security and compliance in relation to messaging environment.
• Responsible for managing various 3rd party E-mail security tools.
• Maintenance and review of KB Articles, documentation.
Pay will vary upon range of experience
$35/hr - $50/hr

Required Skills & Experience
• 4-6 years of Exchange Administration experience (Exchange Server 2019/SE)
• Email Administration (for large organization 5k+ emails)
• Email Security experience
• Strong experience with O365 platform and tools
• Active Directory or Azure AD ticketing experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with Proofpoint
• Mail Migration experience
