-Key Responsibilities:

Ensure cleanliness of shared areas within the commercial space. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in assigned duties, including: sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning spills, restrooms, offices, sidewalks, pathways, window sills, railings, stairways, parking lots, removing bird droppings and clean and wiping down surfaces, clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces
Empty trash receptacles, wastebaskets, and recyclables, disposing of them in designated areas
Restock cleaning supplies as needed
Notify the appropriate HBM employee regarding needed supplies and equipment for cleaning duties
Report safety issues or building problems (e.g., burnt light bulbs)
Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor or property manager
-Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Must pass a background check
Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred, but willing to train enthusiastic candidates
Strong public relations and communication skills
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
Capable of performing basic manual labor, including: Cleaning common areas, frequently lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying a minimum of 30 lbs (up to 50 lbs), reaching overhead, grasping objects, bending, kneeling, crawling, squatting, climbing, stretching, walking, and standing throughout shifts
Experience operating various cleaning machinery (e.g., leaf blower, power washer, floor scrubber) is preferred but not necessary
-Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday: 12 PM to 8:30 PM, Thursday and Saturday: 6:00AM to 2:30PM (5 days, 40 hours per week)
(Days off: Tuesday and Friday)
-Compensation per hour: $16.00
