We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable, and trustworthy individual with excellent customer service skills and detailed oriented individual to clean and maintain a commercial location. While previous experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or a related field is preferred, it is not mandatory. Please be aware that applicants must successfully complete a background check, and certain roles require a valid Hawaii driver's license and a dependable vehicle. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for cleaning common areas, maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies, and reporting any maintenance issues. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently or with a team are essential. -Position: Part-Time Janitorial
-Location: Nuuanu Ave. (Honolulu, HI 96817)
-Key Responsibilities:
-Work independently while following instructions

-Responsible for completing all cleaning duties.

-Maintain and clean common areas of the facility and restrooms

-Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitize areas while refilling supplies

-Perform various tasks that involve standing for the duration of shifts (3+ hours), frequently lifting, push, pull, crouching, carry a minimum of 20 lbs., navigate stairs, and other physical activities for extended periods.

-Ability to navigate four levels of stairs (no elevator available)
-All responsibilities should be carried out safely, ensuring that no direct threat is posed to the health and safety of the employee or others.
-Clean and sanitize urinals and toilets
-Wipe down walls and partitions
-Clean mirrors and glass surfaces
-Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and hallways
-Remove trash and dispose of it in designated areas
-Cleaning Checklist:
-Entry Area: Sweep and wash down the entry
-Wipe down the gate
-Clean glass doors and windows
-Kitchen:
-Wipe down counters
-Clean tables and chairs
-Empty trash and replace liners
-Sweep and mop the floor
-Restrooms (Four areas):
-Clean and wipe down toilets and urinals
-Sanitize counters and sinks
-Clean partitions and dispensers
-Empty trash and replace liners
-Sweep and mop the floor
-Office Floors (Four areas):
-Empty trash and replace liners
-Wipe down and dust surfaces
-Vacuum carpeted areas and stairs
-Clean entry area: sweep and mop floors, clean glass doors and windows
-Remove bagged trash to the outside dumpster
-Skills/Qualifications:
-Must pass a background check
-High school diploma or GED preferred
-Previous janitorial or custodian experience is a plus, training available
-Experienced in handling cleaning chemicals
-Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
-Strong public relations and communication skills
-Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday - 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM
Total Hours: 12 hours per week
Compensation per hour: $17.00 - $19.00
