FP&A Lead - Fiber Business (U.S.)

Location: U.S.-based (flexible), with regular travel to
• Van Wert, OH
• Washington State sites

Position Summary

The FP&A Lead for the Fiber business serves as a strategic financial partner to operations and business leadership, supporting performance management, forecasting, and financial decision-making across U.S. Fiber sites. This role bridges finance and operations, providing forward-looking insights that drive profitability, cost control, and operational efficiency.

This position requires strong on-site engagement and collaboration with plant and business leaders and includes regular travel to the Van Wert, OH facility and Fiber operations in Washington State.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Partnership

  • Serve as the primary FP&A partner to Fiber operations leadership
  • Translate financial data into actionable insights for plant and segment leaders
  • Support site leadership in understanding cost drivers, margin performance, and operational impacts
Financial Analysis and Reporting
  • Oversee variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast)
  • Prepare management and Corporate Reporting
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency and support existing financial processes
  • Turn complex numbers into actionable recommendations
Forecasting & Planning
  • Lead monthly forecasts and annual budgeting for the Fiber business
  • Partner with site leaders to develop realistic, data-driven outlooks
  • Lead plant specific Budget and Long-range plans
Performance Management
  • Analyze EBITDA, cost performance, labor, scrap, and productivity metrics
  • Provide financial visibility into plant performance and operational initiatives and develop KPI's
  • Support continuous improvement efforts through financial modeling and ROI analysis
Operational Finance Support
  • Support capital planning and investment analysis
  • Evaluate savings initiatives, productivity projects, and cost-reduction programs
  • Assist in tracking performance tied to operational and incentive plans
  • Partner with site leaders to drive continuous improvement activities
Reporting & Communication
  • Prepare leadership-ready reporting for business reviews and MBRs
  • Present financial performance and insights to business leadership
  • Ensure alignment between site financials and segment reporting
Systems and Controls
  • Improve FP&A tools
  • Collaborate in changes of cost methodologies when necessary and support system implementations
  • Ensure alignment between site financials and segment reporting
  • Establish best practices for financial governance and controls
Travel Expectations
  • Regular travel required to:
    • Van Wert, OH
    • Washington State Fiber sites
  • Anticipated travel: ~25-40%, depending on business needs
  • On-site presence is critical for effective business partnership
Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 7+ years of FP&A, operational finance, or manufacturing finance experience
  • Strong experience supporting plant or operations environments
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Ability to influence and partner with non-financial leaders
Preferred
  • Manufacturing or industrial environment experience
  • Experience supporting multi-site operations
  • ERP experience (LN, SAP, Oracle, etc.)

Salary Range: $94,000 to $125,000
