Join the Telecommunications department and support our mission to provide high quality health care to patients by facilitating an accurate telephone switchboard service and friendly customer service. This department assists external and internal customers by directing phone calls to the appropriate departments and services. The Telecommunications team also assists with the coordination of emergency responses following established protocols to assure hospital security regulations.

As the Telephone Operator, you will help to ensure the maintenance of efficient and helpful communications service to the employees and clients of Straub. You will serve as a professional customer service bridge between internal and external customers through the use of telecommunication systems and processes. We are looking for someone with excellent communications and customer service skills and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai'i's people.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year experience or previous telecommunications training. Experience using medical terminology.
