Job Overview

We are on the lookout for a passionate Process Excellence Manager, eager to lead the development and execution of comprehensive Strategic Sourcing business processes throughout our organization. Collaborating closely with senior leadership, you will design and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and performance across critical business functions. Reporting to the VP of Strategic Sourcing, you'll create a structured approach to process improvement, manage metrics for successful execution, and train cross-functional teams on established process standards.

The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in process excellence methodologies (such as Lean and Six Sigma), program management, and a proven history of implementing frameworks that yield measurable results in Procurement. You will foster a culture of continuous improvement while ensuring key metrics and KPIs are tracked and optimized across the organization.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Process Framework Development:
    • Design and implement a comprehensive business process framework that enhances organizational efficiency and aligns with strategic goals.
    • Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and establish best practices to ensure clarity and consistency across teams.
  • Process Improvement & Execution:
    • Lead key process improvement initiatives, ensuring the framework is integrated organization-wide.
    • Conduct process mapping and root cause analysis to pinpoint bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
    • Manage process optimization projects utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies.
  • Training & Knowledge Sharing:
    • Create and implement training programs to enhance team knowledge of process excellence principles and tools.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in process excellence, providing coaching to departmental leaders.
    • Lead workshops and meetings to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Metrics & Performance Management:
    • Define and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of process improvements.
    • Utilize data to evaluate process effectiveness and identify optimization opportunities.
    • Report regularly to senior leadership on the progress and impact of process excellence efforts.
  • Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Drive change management initiatives to facilitate the adoption of new processes.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership and managers to secure buy-in for improvement initiatives.
    • Engage key stakeholders across functions to align with process excellence objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement Culture:
    • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
    • Stay informed on industry best practices and emerging trends to introduce innovative solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, supplier management, or process excellence roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic sourcing and supplier engagement strategies.

Skills & Competencies

  • Thorough knowledge of end-to-end Strategic Sourcing and Procurement processes and best practices.
  • Expertise in supplier segmentation and performance management.
  • Proficiency in program governance strategies.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and market intelligence skills.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
