MORTGAGE LOAN SPECIALIST

JOB SUMMARY:

  • As a Mortgage Loan Specialist, you will play a vital role in driving the success of Supreme Lending by engaging with realtors, builders, and potential clients to promote our innovative financial products and services.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Actively market and promote Supreme Lending's comprehensive range of financial products.
  • Consistently originate at least two transactions per month by thoroughly processing complete and accurate loan applications.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with realtors, builders, and new home sales representatives to foster business growth.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by overseeing client interactions throughout the loan application to closing process, including counseling and pre-qualifying home buyers.
  • Collect and analyze customer data related to income, assets, investments, and debts to ensure tailored solutions.
  • Evaluate loan products and determine the best fit for customers' financial situations.
  • Educate customers on the pros and cons of different loan options.
  • Assist existing customers by gathering necessary documents and managing fees and lock-in information.
  • Monitor loan status to ensure compliance with agreed terms and conditions.
  • Communicate loan progress effectively to all stakeholders and manage documentation post-closing.
  • Negotiate competitive terms and conditions with customers for loans.
  • Stay informed on market trends, real estate developments, and regulatory changes related to mortgages.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor that aligns with company policies and values.
  • May supervise junior loan officers and support staff as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must possess appropriate licenses as mandated by state regulations.
  • A minimum of 12 months experience as a loan originator is required; a minimum of 5 years for those in senior roles.
  • Engage effectively with other departments, realtors, sales agents, builders, appraisers, etc.
  • Show demonstrated judgment and decision-making capabilities along with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to assess and process substantial data promptly, utilizing relevant software technology.
  • Active community involvement and participation in relevant organizations are essential for networking.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development in the industry and organization.
  • A valid driver's license and current automobile liability insurance are necessary.
