Our Consumer Identity and Access Management organization delivers secure, reliable digital identity services that enable members and consumers to access web and mobile experiences across the enterprise. This role is a principal/senior engineering position focused on our PingFederate-based identity federation and single sign-on platform, which is mission-critical for secure authentication and token issuance across enterprise applications and external partners. The engineer will lead design and implementation of standards-based federation and authorization patterns, including OAuth2/OIDC and SAML2, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and operationally resilient. The position partners closely with application engineering teams, cybersecurity, privacy/compliance, and infrastructure teams to integrate end-to-end sign-on flows and protect sensitive identity transactions. Mission-critical responsibilities include maintaining service reliability, strengthening security posture, and serving as the technical escalation point for complex federation and authentication issues.
