Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Operations Leader, you will head a dynamic maintenance department, overseeing front-line supervisors and a skilled team of mechanics. You will focus on developing your team, enhancing operational efficiency, and achieving high safety standards throughout the business unit. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing supervisors and teams to achieve individual and business goals
  • Tackling daily operational challenges while striving for short- and long-term objectives
  • Navigating business changes effectively while caring for team dynamics
  • Enhancing team capabilities through recruitment, training, and effective communication
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to resolve operational issues
  • Working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure goals are met
  • Delivering engaging presentations and formal training sessions
  • Maintaining a presence on the plant floor, ready to adapt to various weather conditions as needed
  • Being available for off-shift and weekend work as required

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary ranging from $89,000 to $149,000, based on location, skills, experience, and education
  • Performance-based bonus of 10% of your annual salary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, operations management, or a related field preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with PLCs
  • Experience in Lean Six Sigma is a plus, particularly if accompanied by successful project completion
  • At least 5 years of operations maintenance experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role
  • A proactive mindset with a knack for creative problem-solving
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proven ability to thrive in a results-oriented environment
  • Excellent leadership skills to mentor and develop others
  • Must possess indefinite right to work in the United States
  • A valid driver's license and a safe driving record are strongly preferred
