The Commercial Card Product Group is dedicated to managing innovative payment solutions for clients ranging from small businesses to large corporations.
As the Manager of Payables & Business Card Products, you will lead the charge in expanding and developing strategies to elevate UMB's Payables and Business Banking card offerings. Your primary focus will be on Integrated Payables solutions for all segments within Commercial Banking. You will collaborate with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams to enhance these services and engage Supplier Enablement networks to boost customer spending on the Payables program.
This is a hybrid role, working on-site Monday through Thursday and remotely on Friday. Candidates must reside in the Kansas City metropolitan area or be qualified candidates located elsewhere in the United States.
Creating comprehensive product roadmaps informed by industry trends, market research, client experiences, and stakeholder insights.
Setting priorities for initiatives to ensure alignment with overall company objectives and goals.
Assisting in the development of Functional Requirements and Vision Documents to define product enhancements.
Managing the creation of prototypes demonstrating specific product enhancements and development initiatives.
Evaluating client needs, technology trends, and competitor activities to synthesize product requirements, leveraging market research for a robust long-term product roadmap.
Helping develop compelling business cases including financial impacts for new product introductions or modifications to existing products.
Collaborating with internal departments like sales, operations, legal, implementation, and compliance to launch new enhancements that meet company and regulatory standards.
Partnering with product marketing and sales enablement to drive market success for product launches and updates.
Ensuring all internal and external product documentation is up-to-date.
Contributing to the creation of Concept, Vision, requirements definition documents, and marketing tools.
Managing timelines and responsibilities for internal and external resources to ensure timely and budget-friendly product launches.
Engaging in Supplier Enablement initiatives to increase customer expenditures through targeted outreach campaigns based on vendor data from clients.
Providing education and training to other teams on the value and advantages of new and existing products when applicable.
An undergraduate degree in a relevant field and over 7 years of full lifecycle product development experience, or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent capabilities.
Proven experience in product marketing or project management, particularly with product launches.
Working knowledge of TSYS.
Experience in Supplier Enablement.
Understanding of Integrated Payables and Business Card product use cases and back-end functionalities.
A goal-oriented mindset that allows you to not only conceptualize new products but also manage and optimize them throughout their lifecycle.

The compensation range for this role is $83,200.00 - $178,800.00. This range reflects UMB's standard for this position, but actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, experience level, and other factors. Additional benefits information is detailed in this job posting.
