RESIDENTIAL LENDING LOAN OFFICER SUPPORT ASSOCIATE

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

Join our team to provide essential support to Residential Loan Officers as we work to process mortgage applications efficiently and effectively. You will play a critical role in reviewing and submitting completed application packages, coordinating with operational teams, and keeping our Loan Officers informed on the status of loans in the pipeline.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Assist Loan Officers by gathering documentation for new loan applications and entering data into our loan operating system.

  • Organize and manage all loan-related documents in a shared drive or secure repository.

  • Track and report on loan statuses to meet the needs of Loan Officers.

  • Support the Loan Officer in monitoring conditions and expiration dates on credit commitments.

  • Communicate with borrowers to collect additional information and documentation as required for successful loan closures.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations while performing administrative duties.

  • Field calls from borrowers, escrow, title agents, and others regarding loan status and general inquiries.

  • Commit to our Bank programs focused on Customer First values, Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) initiatives, and Equal Employment Opportunity.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma.

  • A minimum of 1 year of customer service or financial experience.

  • SAFE Act Registration in good standing or the ability to register under the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act.

Additional Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, along with strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment with general supervision.

  • Experience interacting with clients and sometimes vendors to obtain necessary documents.

  • Knowledge of job responsibilities and practical application of solutions to common problems.
