Description:

Job ResponsibilitiesAircraft Maintenance and RepairsConduct scheduled inspections (A, B, C, D checks) on airframes and powerplants to ensure compliance with the manufacturer and FAA guidelines.Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues with aircraft components such as engines, landing gear, and hydraulic systems.Utilize root cause analysis techniques to identify the underlying causes of aircraft malfunctions.Diagnose and repair avionics systems, including navigation, communication, and electrical systems.Diagnose and repair structural issues by performing sheet metal repairs and fabrication as needed.Quality Control and AssuranceEnsure aircraft systems are calibrated correctly and operating within safety parameters, including testing flight controls, fuel systems, and navigation instruments.Identify potential defects in the aircrafts structure or systems and take corrective actions to prevent future issues.Perform preventive maintenance tasks to reduce the likelihood of future breakdowns or failures, ensuring aircraft reliability and minimizing downtime.Utilize Coordinate Measuring Machines and calipers to ensure accurate measurements during repairsMaintain accurate records of all maintenance activities using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)Continuous Learning and Certification MaintenanceStay up to date with the latest aircraft technologies, tools, and regulatory changes through continuous education and training.Maintain FAA A&P certification by meeting required training hours and adhering to FAA standards and regulations.Obtain additional certifications for specific aircraft models, systems, or advanced technologies to expand expertise.Airframe & Powerplant Certificate.Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, stand, and lift above the head.Must be able to adhere to process protocol.Must be able to apply established protocols in a timely manner.Must have own set of tools.Preferred QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent related experienceValid drivers licenseWillingness to work all schedules.
