Objectives:

  • Provide excellent customer service to volunteers and parents/caregivers
  • Monitor communications with volunteers and parents/caregivers promoting the Girl Scout Leadership Experience

Job Responsibilities:
  • Work in cooperation with Councils Product Program team to respond to daily communications from volunteers and parents/caregivers
  • Divert communications to the Product Marketing Coordinator and Director of Product Sales when issues arise or topics are un-answerable
  • Provide support to the Retail department to fulfill retail orders for shipment and pick-up

Dates Required for in-person attendance:

Weekly buffer shifts: dates tbd; 5-6 weeks mid-February to end of March

Job Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience demonstrating knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job. Advanced computer skills. Proficiency in Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with organization skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong creative problem-solving skills in a customer service environment.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule.
  • Commitment to diversity and knowledge of/experience in the Girl Scout Movement.
  • Must meet the Girl Scout background and verification standards.
