As an Individual Contributor, this role supports bank-wide strategic planning and decision-making through data analysis, reporting, and insight generation. The position assists with gathering, validating, and summarizing data to identify trends and opportunities that help inform strategic goals. Working under direction, the role contributes to analytics development while promoting a collaborative, data-driven culture.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Data Analysis Support: Supports data analysis efforts to inform bank strategy by collecting, validating, and summarizing internal and external data. Assists with identifying general trends and opportunities while following established data collection and quality standards. Coordinates with business managers to understand analysis requests and business context.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Presentation: Prepares and presents summarized analysis and findings to internal stakeholders. Supports the development of clear, audience-appropriate materials that communicate insights and observed trends. Assists in responding to stakeholder questions with guidance as needed.
  • Analytics Development and Culture Support: Contributes to idea generation and collaborates in a supporting role on analytic solutions aligned to bank goals. Identifies and communicates concerns related to data quality, documentation, or reporting processes. Actively engages in knowledge sharing and demonstrates a desire to strengthen analytic capabilities.
  • Performance Reporting Support: Supports the development and maintenance of recurring performance tracking reports for assigned business areas. Assists with documenting reporting processes and coordinates with others to explore automation opportunities. Identifies when reports may not be effectively meeting intended objectives and notes key trends.
  • Executive and Ad-Hoc Analysis Support: Assists with responding to ad-hoc data and analysis requests from executive management. Gathers required data, conducts preliminary analysis, and summarizes findings under direction.
  • Performs other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or a related discipline. Equivalent work experience or certification(s) may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Level II- Minimum 2 years or less of experience in data analysis, reporting, or related analytical work, with exposure to strategy development.
  • Level III- Minimum 4 years of experience in data analysis to inform strategic or business decisions.
  • Senior- Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis, strategy, analytics, project management, or related professional experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Intermediate knowledge and skill proficiency in data collection.
  • Basic knowledge and skill proficiency in customer experience, data analysis, presentation design, problem solving, project management, teamwork, and technology literacy.
  • Ability to learn and use bank systems, software, and syntax-based applications as needed.
  • Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, proactive work approach, and commitment to ongoing professional and analytical skill development.
