Hawai'i Pacific Health Internship

Hawai'i Pacific Health is a not-for-profit health care network with over 70 locations statewide including medical centers, clinics, physicians and other caregivers serving Hawai'i and the Pacific Region with high quality, compassionate care. Its four medical centers - Kapi'olani, Pali Momi, Straub and Wilcox - specialize in innovative programs in women's health, pediatric care, cardiovascular services, cancer care, bone and joint services and more. This summer, internships will be offered at various departments at Hawai'i Pacific Health! If you are looking to gain first-hand experience in a health care setting or want to confirm your interest in the health care industry, we have a position for you! The Hawai'i Pacific Health internship provides exposure and interaction with Hawai'i's leading health care organization and health care professionals. Previous interns rave about learning more about the health care industry and culture, interacting with patients and their families, and understanding the team effort involved in the health care industry.

Minimum Qualifications: High school junior or senior standing during the 2025 2026 academic school year.

Summer Internship Details

Dates and Work Schedule:

• June 15 to July 24
• Monday Friday, 40 hours per week, subject to change pending department placement

Facilities / Locations:

• Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children
• Pali Momi Medical Center
• Straub Benioff Medical Center
• Hawai'i Pacific Health Medical Group
• Hawai'i Pacific Health, Shared Services

Relocation housing and transportation are not provided for the Health Careers Summer Internship.

• Patient care and non-patient care positions
• Department placement will be determined upon offer

• Please be sure to include all relevant information on your resume including but not limited to: education, previous work experience, extracurricular activities, club memberships, volunteer experiences, etc.

• What should I expect after I submit my application?
