This position serves as assistant to the Administrator of the Water System Operations Division and assists in the executive direction and administration of the Board of Water Supplys water distribution functions. What You Will DoDirect and monitor the Division's day-to-day operations. Monitor the divisions overall performance in meeting long and short-term goals. Oversee the supervision of the divisions workforce. Authorizes work orders, planned overtime, change orders, contract extensions, etc. Evaluate findings of distribution-related water main breaks. Conducts inspections of pump facilities (reservoirs, boosters, treatment plants, shafts, tunnels, etc.), office facilities, and machinery to evaluate condition and replacement needs.
