Hiring Range: $23.91 - $30.00/hr
Workdays/Hours: Monday - Friday / 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

This position is devoted to professional urban planning services for the City and/or regional organizations including land use planning, development review, parks and open space planning, and historic preservation. Position provides technical support to the Planning Department by collecting, organizing, tracking, and disseminating information, and answering inquiries related to development applications and project status.

Responsibilities may include assisting customers; collecting and maintaining information; reviewing applications for accuracy and completeness; providing information and responding to inquiries from developers and citizens; assisting with tracking development projects; and assisting with the preparation of reports and publications.
Duties/Responsibilities

  • This position will help with a wide variety of organizing, sorting, retention and disposition of existing Planning records.
  • Research all parcels that have proffers associated with them, conditions in the Land Development Office, and ensure that information is up-to-date before our Department moves to the Clarity system.
  • Put together a guide for agenda items, and other planning topics, organize digital records.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
  • Associate's degree in Planning, Landscape Architecture, Construction or related field.
  • Two years of professional Planning experience.
