About the Role:

The Learning Development Specialist plays a crucial role in facilitating engaging learning experiences that enhance new hire training and ongoing development for employees. This position significantly influences our global training initiatives, improving new hire performance, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.

The starting salary for this position is $55,000.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead impactful learning sessions with expertise in facilitation and a passion for training.

  • Influence and collaborate with business leaders to drive comprehensive learning agendas.

  • Integrate training content with participants' knowledge and experiences for enhanced learning outcomes.

  • Serve as a learning expert post-training to reinforce key concepts and methodologies.

  • Work alongside business leaders to identify skills gaps and development opportunities to foster personal and organizational improvement.

  • Utilize blended learning methods to fulfill development needs aligned with organizational goals.

  • Advance best practices in learning and development across all training initiatives globally.

  • Collaborate with the Global Learning team on various training projects and activities.

  • Support new hires with technical/logon issues during training sessions.

  • Ensure consistent engagement and adherence to the new-hire training agenda in virtual settings.

  • Provide cross-organizational training in RAC/HLE/Customer Care and other assigned areas.

  • Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of training programs in terms of employee learning and return on investment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Learning and Development or related fields.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent experience.

  • Availability to work a flexible schedule; travel may be required up to 25% for on-site training and team meetings.

  • Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders across various functions.

  • Proven ability to influence others and drive organizational change.

  • Adaptable and flexible, capable of thriving in ambiguous situations.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Capacity to motivate teams and maintain a positive outlook in a dynamic environment.

  • A self-starter who can work independently with a goal-oriented mindset.

  • Ability to see the big picture and exercise critical thinking and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
